Bocas del Toro has a lot of atractions, but if you want to see some of the most exotic animals on earth then you should go on this tour.
The San San Pond Sack, a protected area that retains a representative sample of the Panamanian Caribbean soil with edaphic associations (Holdridge, 1972), some of them with characteristics of uniqueness (ecosystems with unique characteristics that occur in one place in the country only) and different species of animals, some of them are in danger of extinction.
This protected area is located northwest of the town of Changuinola, Bocas del Toro. The protected area has an extension of 17,000 square Km. The manatee tour begins with a journey of the San San River, where people can observe birds, iguanas, sloths and others. After 40 minutes we arrive at the platform where you must wait for two hours to observe the manatees, you have to be very patient and silent.
